Sunshine Coast Solar and Electrical is owner-operated by Peter and Kylee, born from a simple idea: do solar properly, and stand behind it.
Our story
Sunshine Coast Solar and Electrical has been serving the Sunshine Coast since 2014 with a simple standard, solar done properly.
Peter, Dave and Sam bring decades of combined experience across solar installation, electrical work, system design, sales, operations, stock management, warranties and customer care. We have worked with small local companies, larger solar businesses and national providers, and we have seen where the industry gets it right and where it lets customers down.
We believe good solar starts with proper advice, proper design and proper installation. That means choosing the right products, the right system size and the right setup for the customer's home, usage and future plans.
We are a small local team, and that is intentional. You deal with experienced people who know solar, care about the work and stand behind the result.

From North Brisbane to Northern Gympie, and out to Kingaroy.
We serve the full Sunshine Coast region: coastal towns, hinterland villages, country properties and commercial sites. If you can drive to it, chances are we cover it.

SAA Accredited Installer
Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) is the independent, government-approved body responsible for accrediting solar installers across Australia, established 2024 when the CEC transferred its accreditation program. SAA accreditation is mandatory for any installer claiming government STCs (the solar rebate). Every Sunshine Coast Solar and Electrical installation is carried out by a current SAA-accredited professional.
Accredited for full design and install across solar (grid-connected PV), battery storage, and off-grid stand-alone power systems.
CEC Approved Products
The Clean Energy Council maintains Australia's authoritative list of approved solar panels, inverters, and batteries meeting Australian safety and performance standards. Only CEC-listed products are eligible for the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program, state battery rebates, and STCs. We install CEC-approved products exclusively.
